In the last seven years, Canfei Nesharim has opened the door to environmental consciousness and action in the Orthodox Jewish community, while sharing our resources across the entire Jewish community. We have helped our community recognize that protecting Hashem's resources for ourselves and for future generations is a part of our Torah responsibility.
This Tu b'Shevat, you can help our work flourish by planting a tree in Canfei Nesharim's 5770 Virtual Forest. Donations will build our capacity to engage synagogues, schools and speakers and create Torah-based teachings on the environment. You can watch our forest bloom during the month of Shevat (January 16 - February 15).
You can also invite your community to join us and receive plaques for bronze, silver, or gold eagle awards.
Planting a tree is easy as 1-2-3!
1. To plant your tree, simply fill out our online form to provide your information and ensure that your tree reflects the appropriate sponsorship information. All trees can be sponsored in honor of a loved one.
2. Make sure to click the appropriate button at the top of the page to complete your payment.
3. When we receive information of your form and payment, a virtual tree will be planted in our 5770 Virtual Forest. Donations of $18 and above will also receive a certificate honoring your tree, which can be sent to yourself or a loved one, via email or by mail.
Looking to plant a real tree in Israel? Canfei Nesharim has partnered with JNF to offer trees planted in Israel beginning at $18.
Project sponsorships are also available for donations beginning at $250.
