Meet our Summer Team 2012!

This summer, Canfei Nesharim is blessed with an amazing team of interns who are building our new website, creating innovative new programs to support change agents and communities, and promoting our work around the world!   We’re proud to share them with you:

Adina Brezel, our Summer Scholar/Education Fellow, is a recent graduate from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration with a MS in Jewish Education and lives in Queens, New York. She has had previous experience in both formal and informal Jewish educational studies, and is looking forward to working with the Canfei Nesharim team this summer!  Adina is developing lesson plans based on our Year of Jewish Learning on the Environment.

David Dabrow, our Jewcology Summer Intern, is a recent graduate of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. At age 15, David moved from South Florida to the Greater Washington area. He has previously worked at Yachad D.C. and the Naval Research Laboratory. He is excited to be working at Canfei Nesharim this summer. David will be attending the Burnett Honors College  at the University of Central Florida this fall.  He is focusing on improvements to Jewcology‘s technology and organizational management systems.

Sara Myers, our Website Communications Intern,  is currently pursuing a BA in Political Communications from George Washington University after transferring from Riverside Community College’s Honors Program in 2012.  She will be focusing on Canfei Nesharim’s website communications and social media this summer.

Shoshana Novick, our Source Study Intern, is a sophomore at Rutgers University studying ecology.  Passionate about God’s beautiful creations, she paints nature scenes that parallel excerpts from the Tanach.  Shoshana, dedicated to the environment, urges her friends and family members to reuse and recycle.  In addition to advocating for protecting the earth, Shoshana is involved in Yachad and other organizations that provide and promote resources for individuals with special needs.  Among her other interests are linguistics, foreign languages and biology.  Shoshana is working on our Jewish environmental source partnership with On1Foot.
